The Comp is a race-oriented design for those that want to go fast and straight. This displacement hull is designed with a negative nose angle which cuts through choppy water with ease. Utilizing a brushed carbon lay-up this board weighs in at approximately 24lbs! Crazy light, yet crazy stiff for a board measuring 12’6”! This is possible thanks to the Full 3K Carbon Epoxy Sandwich Vacuum Construction (ESVC). For 2017, Kahuna has removed the balsa stringer, used a lighter EPS foam core and reshaped the nose and deck. The Comp is designed for versatility with loads of volume making it an ultimate gliding machine. At 30" wide, the Comp has great stability without compromising any performance. Compete if you desire, go for long tours, or just pass your buddies with ease on your local lake.
