Dover, New Hampshire (August 7, 2018) – NEMO Equipment, Inc., in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), is voluntarily issuing a recall, subject to user inspection, of Stargaze™ Recliner chairs with specific date stamps because of a possibility of defects in the hubs that could create a fall hazard.

The chair’s plastic joint supports can break, posing a fall hazard.
Remedy:
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled chairs. Do not discard the chair. Contact NEMO Equipment for a free inspection and, if necessary, replacement of the chair.
Recalled Product:
This recall involves the Stargaze™ Recliner, Stargaze™ Recliner Low, and Stargaze™ Recliner Luxury lifestyle camping chairs. These portable swinging and reclining outdoor chairs have an aluminum frame and black and gray monofilament mesh seat, and weigh between five and seven pounds. They were sold in four colors: birch leaf green, graphite, verdigris (teal) and Sedona (red). They come in a black, padded carrying case, and are used as a portable seat for camping and outdoor activities. The model name is printed on the pocket on the inside right side of the seat. The NEMO name and logo is attached to the back of the seat as a stitched logo. To identify the chair, please see below.
Product Identification
There is a two-step process to determine if your Stargaze™ is a recalled model. Step 1: Check Date Stamps There are two black plastic hubs connecting the aluminum tubing on your Stargaze™ frame. Each hub contains a date stamp on one of the sockets that hold the legs. Note: both hubs must be checked to determine if your chair is affected. 
Use the charts below to evaluate both of your chair’s hubs. 
Step 2: Check for Punch Mark Turn the frame upside down. On the underside of the hubs there is a screw. Look for a small, circular punch mark next to the screw.
