Rated 5 out of 5 by HappyFeet from Great Socks First off the price is a bit rediculous for a pair of socks....that being said these are the most comfortable and warmest sock I have ever owned and if you can afford it they are worth the price in my opinion! I bought a pair and then went back and bought 3 more pairs as they felt so nice to wear in the winter months. They are bulky so if your shoes/boots are already on the tight side then they probably wouldn't fit with these socks. If you like a warm, cushioning sock you will love these!

Temperatures usually range from -10C to -40C on my hikes and I am prone to having sweaty feet. These Merino wool socks are perfect for my long hikes by not retaining the sweat which will eventually freeze my feet. My feet stay dry throughout and warm. I only buy merino wool socks now and use them at work as well since I am a Canadian Armed Forces regular service member, these are my go to socks for when we are in the field.

No socks were able to keep his feet warm and dry this year's snowy, cold winter. Even though price was a bit higher I purchased couple of pairs of Mountaineer mid calf socks for him. He was so pleased and impressed with socks, he said that these are 10 out of 10 and I don't care how much it costs. Every night before he goes to work, he says " these are fantastic" or " these are the best things you've ever bought for me". I am so glad that I made good investment. Above all many thanks to high quality Icebreaker socks.

I found them to be supportive, cushioning and warm for those extended bouts of front pointing in rigid boots up steep water ice in temperatures down to -20oC (I stay home when it’s colder than that...). They are what I’ve been looking for; I recommend them!

Very thick though, but that is the idea with those, just bear in mind you probably won't be able to fit in one of your pair of shoes if its not at least a size bigger than you usually are.

Rated 5 out of 5 by itviking from So Comfy I bought these as a replacement for a pair of merino hiking socks I'd had for close to a decade, that had finally worn out. Over the years I've done less and less outdoors, though that didn't stop me from wearing my old pair around the house. These icebreakers are the perfect slipper replacement. So much more comfy and durable than slippers. Since I have a bad knee that's unstable (no ACL), some slippers add a danger in rolling over on their edge. Other slippers can be so hot. These icebreakers are nice and breathable, but so warm and cozy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by nicholo from Great fitting sock for all day warmth The fit is excellent on these socks and have kept my feet warm all day out in winter hikes. Make sure your shoe has enough room though, as these socks are thick.
