The Bear Keg fits easily into a backpack and holds 716 cubic inches or 11.7 liters of provisions including food, trash, toiletries and other odorous items. Three stainless steel locks are easy for humans to open with a coin or screwdriver but impossible for bears. Smooth sides and rounded edges leave nothing for bears to grip onto. Storage of food and trash in approved bearproof canisters is mandatory in many national parks and wilderness areas. Total weight is 3 lbs. 10 oz. This bear keg is made of ABS plastic and is BPA-free.
