I have lived in New Denver full time for close to 20 years now. I love the quick access and accessibility to the mountains, rivers, lakes, and the great outdoors in general. New Denver is an exceptional area for tons of activities including camping which enables me to continue to be close to Mother Nature. Being a small, friendly community surrounded by nature, New Denver feels like it has been frozen in time - it's a blast from the past. It's one of those places on Earth that is heavenly and where locals and tourists come to get away from it all. Although New Denver idles at a slower pace, I have found it to be a wonderful playground to be able to play in.
My passion for paddle sports started about 10 years ago now. Sup'ing for me is mindful, purposeful meditating and activity in one. You get into the zone of such a peacefulness and physical drive of momentum where you receive an incredible overall workout which is totally rejuvenating and regenerating to the mind, body and soul. Once you start, it becomes one of your super powers - it gives you the ability to reach deeper into oneself. I feel an exuberance of life; an overall buzz that has an addictive quality to it. The sky is the limit!
