No Hassle Return Policy

You’re an important customer, and our local gearhead shops appreciate your business. Hopefully everything is perfect with your shipment. However, if you are not satisfied with your online purchase, you can return your order by following the instructions below. Returns must be made within 30 days of receiving, and items must be in the same condition it was sent to you with the original packaging. We ask that you ensure your return is packaged within a shipping box or a bag. Items returned using the product box as a shipping box cannot be accepted. (For example, if you purchased a pair of shoes, the shoe box must be placed WITHIN a shipping box and not marked or altered.) We will credit your original payment method. Items should be returned with the original hang tags. Need more? Here’s the fine print, spelled out for easy use.

The following items are final sale:

  • Climbing Gear (excluding climbing shoes)
  • Avalanche Packs
  • Undergarments (excluding base layers)
  • Transceivers & Beacons
  • Bear Spray
  • Safety Gear
  • Swimwear (bottoms and one pieces)
  • Ski Crampons
  • Masks and face coverings
  • Mask filtration
  • Samples or other exception items

Returning Product via Mail for a Refund:

  1. Contact or 1-800-746-7876 for an RA# and the shipping information to ship your item back for a refund. Be sure to include a copy of your original receipt.
  2. Ship your package back via method (courier/Canada Post) of your choice. Please note that customers are responsible for the return shipping costs.
  3. Once the store receives your package we will refund your original payment method(s) within 5 business days.

If you wish to exchange an item for another size/colour, we suggest you return the item using the above steps and place a new order for the size/colour right away as this will avoid delays.

Shipping fees on the original purchase are non-refundable.

Return Your Online Purchase In-Store:

  1. Drop into any VPO store with your item in brand new condition, your original receipt and the staff will look after you.
  2. You can request an In-Store Credit, Exchange, or Refund. Note that refunds for Online orders are issued from Head Office within 5 business days.

Often a quick conversation with our staff can solve the problem. If the problem persists, or if you feel the product is defective, our staff will initiate a warranty. Depending on the issues, this may involve the original supplier, or it may be a simple replacement on the spot. Our mission is to solve the problem as painlessly and as quickly as possible.
